Matic Maintenance and Care Guide
Regular care and maintenance can keep your Matic running smoothly.
Monthly Suggested Maintenance
Once a month, we recommend the following:
- Remove Hair from the Brush roll (Video)
 - Clean the mopping cavity and mop core (Video)
 - Replace the side brush if it’s too frayed or worn out
- Check the side brush by flipping Matic on its right side (from the perspective of viewing the robot head-on)
 - If it appears very worn out, you can order a new brush here.
 
 
Bi-yearly Suggested Maintenance
Every 5-6 months, we recommend the following:
- Clean the vacuum filter (Video)
 - Clean the caster wheel with a soft cloth
- Remove the HEPA bag and water tank before turning Matic over to clean the caster wheel
 
 - Clean Matic's wheels with a soft cloth
 - Replace the brush roll if it’s worn out
- Open the cleaning head and check the brush roll.
- The brush roll has a max wear line on one of the flaps
 
- If the wear is past the line, replace it. You can order a new one here.
 
 
 - Open the cleaning head and check the brush roll.
 
Prompted Maintenance
Matic will prompt you on the app when the following maintenance is required:
- Bag Full
 - Water Tank Empty (Video)
 - Mop Roll Worn Out
 - Wringer Clogged
 - Descaling Needed
