How to clean your vacuum filter
Over time, your vacuum filter may collect debris, leading to clogs that can affect performance. Regular cleaning is essential to maintain optimal suction and functionality.
Step 1: Open the Lid and Locate the Filter
Lift Matic's lid and remove the HEPA bag. The vacuum filter is in the back right of the bag cavity.
Step 2: Remove the Filter
Insert a small coin into the groove at the top center of the filter. Gently pull outward to release the filter.
Step 3: Clean the Filter
Use a paper towel to wipe away any debris. If necessary, rinse the filter under water to remove stubborn dirt.
Make sure the filter is completely dry before reinserting it.
Step 4: Reinsert the Filter
Place the vacuum filter back into its cavity with the coin groove side facing up. Push until you hear a click, ensuring the filter is securely in place.
Step 5: Reinsert the HEPA Bag and Close the Lid
