There are a few reasons why Matic's side brush might come off. See below to determine next steps.
Common Side Brush Issues
Matic's side brush helps keep edges and corners free of debris. Occasionally it can become detached. If that occurs, you may be able to resolve it at home or Matic may need to be repaired.
Troubleshooting at Home
Side brush bottom coupler (side brush side) has detached
- If the side brush itself has fallen off, and there is no damage to the components, you can easily reattached the side brush, or replace it with a new one
- The photo below shows the side brush cavity with bearing and magnet present and no damage to the coupler

Side brush bottom coupler is wobbly

If you notice the side brush seems to be wobbly, and the components on the cleaning head are not broken, there may be some debris in the connection area. Use a pair of tweezers or pliers to remove the debris and reattached the side brush.

When Repairs are Required
If you notice the following side brush issues, please submit a ticket through the app and our support team will follow up with next steps.
Side brush top coupler (robot side) magnet has fallen out

If the magnet on the top coupler has fallen out, your Matic will need to come back for repair as this part cannot currently be fixed at home.

If the magnet has fallen out, you may notice that the side brush easily falls out again when you try to reattach it.
Side brush top coupler has broken

If the top coupler has broken, your Matic will need to come back for repair as this part cannot currently be fixed at home.
