Noticing dirty water left after mopping

If you notice any dirty water left behind on your floor after Matic mops, it’s likely due to a clogged wringer. Follow these steps to unclog your Matic and restore optimal mopping performance.

Step-by-Step Cleaning Guide

1. Prepare Matic for cleaning
  • Open the lid and remove the HEPA bag and water tank.
  • Close the lid securely
2. Position Matic and remove the mop roll
  • Carefully tilt Matic onto its left side, facing from the front.
  • Locate the groove at the back of the cleaning head.
  • Pull gently to remove the mop roll.
3. Clean the mopping components
  • Remove the orange wringer by pulling it out.
  • Clear any hair or debris around the metal mop driver.
  • Slide off the mop roll and check for buildup
  • Press the larger orange button to remove the mop idler and clean any trapped debris.
  • Reinsert the idler and lock it in place with the smaller orange button.
  • Wipe the wringer with a paper towel and rinse under water if needed.
4. Clean the mopping cavity
  • Use a damp cloth or paper towel to wipe down the cavity and remove any residue or buildup
5. Reassemble Matic
  • Slide the orange winger back into place.
  • Reinsert the mop roll until it clicks securely.
  • Flip Matic upright and place the HEPA bag and water tank back inside.
  • Close the lid and press the button.
