How to Use Descaling Pouches
Your Matic will notify you when descaling is needed.
Descaling pouches are used to remove mineral buildup from Matic's internal mopping system.
Over time, this buildup can interfere with the robot's ability to accurately detect water levels, which may impact mopping performance. Matic automatically detects when descaling is needed and will prompt you via the app and Matic's screen. There's no need to do this proactively.
Only descale using the descaling pouches in your accessories box, and only when prompted.
Step 1: Fill the Water Tank
Fill Matic's water tank to 90%.
Step 2: Add the Descaling Pouch
Drop 1 descaling pouch into the water tank. Do not cut it open — the pouch is water-soluble and will dissolve on its own. We wouldn't recommend adding a cleaning solution to the water tank while descaling.
Step 3: Continue Using Matic Normally
