How to Use Descaling Powder

Your Matic will notify you when descaling is needed.

Descaling powder is used to remove mineral buildup from Matic’s internal mopping system. Over time, this buildup can interfere with the robot’s ability to accurately detect water levels, which may impact mopping performance. Matic automatically detects when descaling is needed and will prompt you to use the powder — there’s no need to do this proactively. 

To use descaling powder:

  1. Fill Matic's water tank to 90%.
  2. Drop 1 descaling pouch into the water tank. Do not cut open: pouches are water-soluble. 

Continue using Matic normally.
