How to take a recording from Matic's point of view

A bot recording is a video from Matic's point of view that helps our team debug software issues you're experiencing. The steps below will show you how to take one.

There are times when a bot recording will help the team troubleshoot an issue, such as unexpected navigation behavior, missed cleaning areas, or other software-related concerns. You can record while Matic is cleaning a specific area, or while manually driving it around.

Step 1: Start the Recording

Open the Matic app. On the Home screen, tap the camcorder icon to begin recording.

Step 2: Stop the Recording

Tap the round icon to stop recording.
