Actuation error

Actuation error appears when Matic's cleaning head is having trouble raising or lowering properly. This can cause the head to drag on the floor and not clean.

Step 1: Reboot the bot

1. Hold the play/pause button on your Matic down for ~10 seconds.

2. Let your Matic sit away from the dock for 5 minutes.

3. Power your Matic back on by holding the play/pause button down for ~3 seconds until the screen turns on.

If this doesn't solve, go to Step 2.

Step 2:  Enable debugging data

To help us diagnose the issue, please turn on data sharing so our team can review your robot's logs:

  1. Open the Matic app
  2. Go to Settings → Troubleshooting Data
  3. Turn on Share Robot Debugging Data

Step 2:  Send us a video

Please send a short video of the cleaning head at the start of a cleaning run. We want to see whether the head lowers toward the floor or stays up. This helps us confirm what's happening.
