# High Internal Humidity error

## This alert appears when moisture builds up inside Matic, most commonly after a mopping session or in warm weather due to condensation. It usually clears quickly once you air it out.

### Steps to resolve

1. Open Matic's lid.
2. Remove the bag.
3. Wipe away any visible water in the bin.
4. Leave the lid open for 10 minutes.
5. Reinsert the bag and close Matic's lid.

If the moisture is coming from a leaking bag rather than condensation, replace the bag instead of reinserting it in Step 5.

**Note:** While docked, Matic periodically runs its fan at higher speed to purge humidity from the system — this is normal and doesn't require any action.
