Mopping streaks can be caused by insufficient mop roll saturation or a dirty mop roll. The following steps can help minimize streaking.
Press "New Mop Roll Inserted" in the App Settings
Go to the app Settings -> "New Mop Roll Inserted"
to tell your Matic to saturate the full amount of water possible (You don't actually need to replace the mop roll for this test, but what this will do is it will tell Matic to add extra water to the mop roll the next time that it starts mopping)
Replace or Clean the Mop Roll
A common cause of streaking is a dirty mop roll. We recommend replacing your mop roll or handwashing your mop roll under running water with soap, completely rinsing out the soap and letting the mop roll dry before reinserting it into your Matic.
Allow More Time for Saturation
As Matic continues to mop, the mop roll gradually absorbs more water, which helps reduce streaking. Typically, streaks should become less noticeable after 5–10 minutes of mopping as the mop roll reaches optimal saturation levels.
Restart Mopping for Additional Water Boost
Matic provides a small boost of water each time a new mopping session begins. If streaks persist, consider restarting the mopping process in the same area to improve water distribution and coverage.
