Mopping streaks are likely caused by insufficient mop roll saturation. Our team is actively working on improving water distribution, but in the meantime, the following steps can help minimize streaking.
Allow More Time for Saturation
As Matic continues to mop, the mop roll gradually absorbs more water, which helps reduce streaking. Typically, streaks should become less noticeable after 5–10 minutes of mopping as the mop roll reaches optimal saturation levels.
Restart Mopping for Additional Water Boost
Matic provides a small boost of water each time a new mopping session begins. If streaks persist, consider restarting the mopping process in the same area to improve water distribution and coverage.
Pre-Wet the Mop Roll (Optional)
For an immediate improvement, you can manually dampen the mop roll under running water before starting a mopping session. However, be cautious not to over-saturate the mop roll, as excessive moisture can lead to puddling or inefficient cleaning. A light dampening is recommended.
