How to move your Matic's dock location?
If you need to move your Matic's dock, the steps below will help Matic recognize its new location as quickly as possible.
Step 1: Place Matic on the Dock in Its New Spot
To ensure your Matic sees the dock's new location, the fastest way is to place Matic directly on the dock in its new spot. Matic will recognize this as the dock's location going forward. It won't need to remap, nor will it miss its former docking home.
If You Don't Place Matic on the Dock
Even if you don't place Matic on the dock, it will still eventually find the new dock on its own. However, this can take longer. During this time, you may still see the old dock location displayed on your map in the app for up to 3 days, until it's fully forgotten.
