Routine Maintenance Guide
Regular care and maintenance can keep your Matic running smoothly.
Monthly Suggested Maintenance
Once a month, we recommend the following:
- Remove hair from the brush roll
- Clean the mopping cavity and mop core
- Replace the side brush if it’s too frayed or worn out
- Make sure to remove the water tank and HEPA Bag before flipping Matic

- Check the side brush by flipping Matic on its right side (from the perspective of viewing the robot head-on)

- If it appears very worn out, you can order a new brush here
Bi-yearly Suggested Maintenance
Every 5-6 months, we recommend the following:
- Clean the vacuum filter
- Remove the HEPA bag and water tank before turning Matic over to clean the caster wheel
- Clean the caster wheel with a soft cloth
- Clean Matic's wheels with a soft cloth
- Replace the brush roll if it’s worn out
- Open the cleaning head and check the brush roll.
- The brush roll has a max wear line on one of the flaps

- If the wear is past the line, replace it. You can order a new one here.
- Open the cleaning head and check the brush roll.
- Clean Matic's cameras to maintain the best performance for navigation and obstacle detection

Lightly dampen a microfiber cloth to gently wipe the glass camera lenses

Avoid getting moisture near the seams around the camera. They're not waterproof, and excess moisture could cause damage

Prompted Maintenance
Matic will prompt you on the app when the following maintenance is required:
- Bag Full
- Water Tank Empty
- Mop Roll Worn Out
- Wringer Clogged
- Descaling Needed
