The Duct Clogged error can be caused by debris buildup, or improper placement of components. Follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
- Use the Declogging Tool
Start by using the declogging tool in your accessories box to clear any debris in the duct. Here is a tutorial video on using the included tool to clear the duct of any debris.
2. Inspect the Brush Roll Placement
The brush roll needs to be properly installed to ensure smooth operation.
- Make sure the brush roll is seated correctly and rotates freely. Here is a video to guide you through inspecting the brush roll.
- Check the selection flap: This is the black rectangular "duct" flap above the brush roll. It should move up and down easily. If it's stuck or covering the hole while the brush roll is running, adjust its position.
- You can also inspect it through the app:
- Navigate to Settings > Troubleshooting > Advanced Controls. From the drop-down menu, select Routines > Vacuum Hard Floor.
- Open the cleaning head (white flap), and confirm that the brush roll is rotating properly and that the selection flap is not shut.
After addressing the above steps, press the power button to clear the error message.
3. Perform a Hard Reboot
If the error persists, rebooting the robot can help reset its system:
-
Press and hold the power button for 8 seconds until the display turns off.
-
Wait 5 seconds
-
Press the power button again for 3 seconds to turn it back on.
